I am a happy stamper, wife, and mom of a delightful 10 month old boy. I am currently on leave from my elementary school teaching job to stay at home with him, which I love! I’ve been stamping for about 14 years, and luckily stumbled into Unity because of a banner on SCS announcing the grand opening party. I’ve been hooked by the fantastic stamps and all the creative, kind people ever since! Unity is an addiction that I’m quite happy to have!

What is your favorite kit? What? I can’t pick just one! I love Cupcakes a’la Yummy, Giggle Grove and all the kits of the month so far. If I had to pick JUST one, though it would be the Create Yourself single.

What is your favorite quote? (again, can’t pick just one!)Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be.

What books are your reading? Like everyone else, it seems, I’m reading the Twilight series. I just finished book 2, and am waiting for Eclipse to come in at the library!

What inspires you to create? Right now, because of my busy SAHM status, I am relying pretty much on challenges to inspire me: sketches, color combos, inspiration pieces. They give me a jumping off point that allows me to work more quickly (during the baby’s nap!). Sometimes a stamp itself will speak to me, though, and I just go from there!

I LOVE Unity! The stamps are great, but the people are EVEN BETTER!
