The inspiration for this project came from several things: Teacher Appreciation week which is quickly approaching and this month’s KOM, Together We Bloom. I tell ya…just can’t put it down and I think by now several of you must have it so I need to go on the hunt and see what you all came up with…can’t wait!
I put together a note card set all wrapped up in a backpack; the backpack is a hybrid project. Here’s what the backpack looks like along with one of the note cards I sneaked out of the backpack to share with you.
The flower I used for closure I’m calling a flower blossom. I put a quick video tutorial to show you how you can make one yourself. It will have it up on my blog later on today if you’d like to stop by.
Now, here’s a close up of the note card.
The image is from the Hodge Podge of Happiness set. As you recall a while back this was the fun set members of Unity’s Splitcoast forum had a hand in selecting the images for…man that was fun! Anyway, if you don’t have it yet…it’s for sure a must! It has a variety of images and sentiments and this one being one of them. With the image being so fun, there’s really little I had to do and was able to keep the card pretty simple. With a bit of coloring, some ribbon and some rhinestones, I was done!
If there’s one thing teachers need is Thank You cards/note cards and so every year I put a bunch of them together to give away to my nephew’s teacher and for friends to give to their kid’s teachers. Hope this inspires to start thinking of fun ways to package your handmade cards and note cards.
Thanks for letting me share this project with you and hope you have an amazing week!
Hugs & Smiles,
