Hi everyone, Laurel here today.
Watercolor is everywhere and I have had my Gelatos taunting me for awhile now.
Always intimidated by new things it takes me awhile to jump on the band wagon 😉
Anyhow, I decided it was time…
I was inspired by this print.
I love texty backgrounds.
I started small, literally, and used some of my scraps of cardstock.
I colored some scribbly lines on a piece of white cardstock with the Gelatos.
Then just dripped on some water and painted over the scribbles to blend them.
Finally I used the Donna Poppies and stamped over top, cut out and added to the card.
I created the newsprint background using the Classified Newsprint stamp by Christy Tomlinson
Am I ‘addicted’ to the Gelatos? No… Will I use them again? Most likely!
