Helloooo SMAK Saturday! Rachel here again on what is easily my favorite Unity day of the week 🙂
Today I created yet another art deco-ish style card (see my last art deco card trio here!) using both the September 2015 and August 2015 SMAKs.
This image is so stunningly beautiful! I tried a lot of different things with her… coloring lightly with pencils, adding some subtle color with inks. But in the end she looked best just the way she is… no frills necessary.
I stamped her on white cardstock and embossed the ‘amaze yourself’ sentiment from August 2015 SMAK in a rose gold powder. Then I heavily inked up the edges to give a vintage photo look to the card.
I added very few details to the overall card. The edges are roughed up a bit, I added two simple strips of rose gold washi, and then sewed a zig-zag pattern across the top with gold thread. Simple. Simple. Simple!
