Good morning! Heather here, and I’m popping in this morning with a card featuring both the new December SMAK Kit: Let it Go and the December LOL Kit: Troubles Be Few – both so pretty, and they work so well together too! Here is a peek at them:
I’ve been on a bit of a rainbow kick lately – there are so many fun ways to use that on cards, and when I saw this doily I thought it would be perfect to color in with rainbow colors!
I used my Copic markers to color it in with two shades of each of the rainbow colors, this gives some variance in each color as well which was fun!
Once I had it colored in, I added some texture and fun interest by adding some Nuvo Jewel Drops on it. I used coordinating colors – the Jewel drops are transparent but colored, so it enhanced the colors but you can still see the image clearly underneath which is what I wanted. Isn’t that texture delicious?!?!?!?
