Hello there Unity friends! It’s Karen here sharing a card that I made using this image below that I found on Pinterest. I admit, it is my “go to” for inspiration. In this case, I thought it might be fun to challenge myself to mimic some of the things I saw in this image:
I decided to watercolor the butterfly and fowers with the same palette of those beautiful and bright colors. Then, I tried to mimic the white paint on the flowers by using a Signa White Pen, to create those same highlights onto my stamped image. I took it a step further and added some white dots over the butterfly wings to bring out those gorgeous watercolors. Lastly, I took a doily die and used some designer paper that looked similar to the notches found on the ruler above.
This stamped image can be found in this month’s KOTM! So many goodies in that kit!!
