Happy Kit of the Month Monday!
Echo here with 4 cards that I made with the current KOTM (kit of the month)
This month’s kit is just fantastic! I love all the images.
Here it is if you haven’t seen it yet!
First up I made this card using that amazing butterfly from the Kit of the Month.
I stamped it in black colorbox ink and embossed it with Wow black twinkle embossing powder because I wanted some sparkle. Who doesn’t love some sparkle? I used watercolor paper and colored image with some Zig clean color brush makers and a water pen. The sentiment came from a past kit of the month. Midnight Kisses 11/16. Next up is a clean and simple card using the butterfly again.
For this card I wanted to show how easy it is to make a beautiful card in minutes! Especially this time of year with all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. If you need to make a quick card for someone. I simply stamped the butterfly in blue ink and then stamped and embossed sentiment. I used the same embossing powder as the first card because I wanted some sparkle!
Next up is a card I made with the beautiful flower image in this month kit.
For this card I stamped flower image twice onto kraft card stock and colored with colored pencils. I then used distress ink in vintage photo to go around the edges and also to the die cut sentiment. Popped sentiment up on some foam tape and aded a few sequins.
Final card I have for you is another clean and simple card.
For this card it is very similar to the first clean and simple. Stamped image in pink ink and then stamped sentiment in black ink. Then I distress edges with same pink ink and tied some bakers twine to card panel. I love using Unity stamps like this. Sometimes less is more and Unity has such fabulous detailed stamps that you don’t always have to color the image. Combined the detailed stamps with the amazing sentiments and your good to go!
