Hi there Unity friends! Crystal here on this Color Combo Tuesday with this sweet Valentine’s Day themed card using the stamp set Girl Truly.
This very pink card seemed perfect to send to any best friend within the Valentine’s Day realm or just a sweet reminder of how special they are. The colors of this card are Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, and Powder Pink.
To make this card, I started by trimming two pieces of Pink Pirouette cardstock, then stamping the florals from Girl Truly in Pink Pirouette Ink, in random repetitive motion. Being careful not to stamp over each other.
Once everything had a background of flowers from Girl Truly, I cut the heart die cut from Hero Arts on the top, smaller cardstock. I then added a mix of sequins to the back of the heart die cut and glued to the larger stamped card panel.
The top and smaller cardstock was adhered to the larger one using foam tape to give it a bit dimension.
Moving on to the sentiment, a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock was trimmed and heat embossed using Rose Gold with the “you are loved darling” from Girl Truly. A cute bow was added to Melon Mambo then the whole thing was adhered to the card with foam adhesive circles.
