Hello everyone and welcome back to another STEP IT OUT SUNDAY.
Today we are going to be looking at Prisma Color Pencils on dark card stock. It is one of my favorite go-to’s when I am tired of watercoloring or using my Copic markers. Prisma pencils are unique in the fact that you are able to color on dark card stock and it shows up so beautifully!

So I used a Die set from Gina Marie Designs Hexagon, I thought it fit perfectly! I colored it up with the Prisma colored pencils on craft card stock.
I used Purple washi to add a pop of color. This Cuddlebug Bee is a must have.
Hey have you ever put washi on card stock and then used a die cut? Well that’s what I did for the 3 hexagons at the top. I wanted it to match the washi under the big hexagon.
>>>Lucky Little Ducks<<<
Aren’t these little guys adorable???
I used Prisma colored pincles on craft card stock and gave it white highlights. I love adding white highlights, it gives it a chalk effect.

- Cricut for the photo corners.
Next up I used the Kit

For this one, I used black card stock embossed the flower and Sentiment in gold. Gold embossing gives it such a rich look and then adding the Prisma Colored Pencil to it just makes everything POP!
I also Used Black Nuvo drops and heart Sequin. I colored the flower purple then went over with a darker purple. I added white highlights on the tips of the flowers and used my blending pencil and went over everything so it would blend together.

I stamped my flower on gray card stock and then gold embossed it. Colored it pink and gave it highlights and then went back over it with my blending pencil. I also gold embossed the edges to give it an elegant look.
Well that’s all for today. I hope you all give Prisma Colored Pencils on dark card stock a try. If you do please tag me on the Unity Show and Tell. I would love to see what you have created.
If you have any questions leave a comment on the Unity Stamp CO. Facebook page and I’ll try and answer it for you.
Until Next Sunday. Have a great crafting afternoon!
