How to Combine stamp sets on a layout

How to Combine stamp sets on a layout

Hi everyone, Laurel here again.  Today I am sharing a layout with you.  I am sure you are going to hear it a few times from me…. I LOVE how the Unity stamps add a subtle touch to my projects, especially my layouts that just helps to complete the theme.   So, you will find that many of my projects do combine many stamp sets.  For my layout today, I have used the Gather collection by Crate Paper.

The ink spots from the Epic Moments SMAK kit have been well used on my layouts.  I am terrible at adding ‘real ink spots’ they always look messy and I am never happy with them.  These stamps are perfect! I just stamp them here and there for a subtle background.  I then stamped the little journaling starters from the Remember Your Blessings SMAK kit onto some of the pattern paper.

Again, wherever I can incorporate more little bits for my theme… I am happy.  In this case, the ‘ticket’ from the Remember Your Blessings kit worked well.  I then just die cut some numbers to complet the tag before tucking it along the side of the layout.  I then added a hashtag from the Hashtag kit because…. well, right now I am loving life

I turned 50 in November and that is why I die cut and tucked a 50 into the flowers on the edge.

Finally, I did battle depression there for a few years, but I worked very hard to get back to being myself again and thus the sentiment under my photo works perfectly.  I used the Time to be Happy LOL stamp set for the sentiment.  I did cut it apart so that I could insert the larger stamped ‘happy’ from the Do What We Love SMAK kit.  Of course, I often add the ‘stitching’ from the Time to Be Happy stamp set for more interest and once again, it did 😉
