Happy for Happy.

Happiness all around, people.

We are human –

we get jealous.

and judgmental.

Sometimes, really dang competitive.

We think we deserve what others have.

We are irritable about their good fortune.

Or we get protective of what we have so others don’t take it.

It’s all an illusion.

Sometimes we get really rehearsed at creating our own party of negative emotions.

Jealously invites bitterness – bitterness invites negativity and they all sit down at the table of competition….

together they create darkness, and the party begins.

Nobody gets to have more than we have.

BECAUSE.

there is ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE.

Competition is an illusion.

It is something we create.

By ourselves.  For ourselves.

Used correctly and with good intention.

Competition can take us to lots of beautiful places in our lives.

HOWEVER…..

Combined with negativeness, bitterness and jealousy…

competition becomes useless to creating anything beautiful in this world.

Short of the story is…..

BE HAPPY for the HAPPY of other people.

BE HAPPY for the success of other people.

BE HAPPY that people in your life have HAPPY experiences.

BE HAPPY they are doing well.

BE HAPPY they scored that job, went on that vacation, had that new baby, found the love of their lives.

WHY in the world wouldn’t you be?

THEY did the work, they deserve the HAPPY!

YOU do the work – YOU deserve the happy, just the same.

SOMETIMES we are so busy seeing others happy in a way we want to be,

we are simply blinded to the amazing things we HAVE created in our lives.

Perspective is everything.

I get it,  sometimes….

Things just aren’t falling into place.

I do get it.

Been there a million and one times, right along side you.

My suggestion – keep on keepin’ on, love.

Some things come easy.

Some things don’t.

Staying on track, appreciating the LOVELY things in your life – working toward more lovely things – that is what it is all about.

Along the way – while you are at it – look around and rejoice in the LOVELY things in other people’s lives.

They MAY have exactly what you are aspiring to have or experience…

LOVE the fact they do.

RELISH in their accomplishments and blessings.

Be encouraging.

LET THEM enjoy the experience of their life.

THEY have gone through so much, just like you –  – they deserve it – just like you do.

We tend to make things so difficult.

Don’t we?

I know I have. – and do.

BUT I am learning very quickly as the years progress,

that life – is very simple.

As humans we are all in this together.

Embracing one another in the highs and the lows has become more and more important.

Happiness is fleeting in all of our lives.

It’s there and it is gone – none of us get to live in eternal moments of bliss.

Therefore to support the happiness and good fortune of others is JUST as important as supporting our own.

We all deserve those moments that create well-being and good fortune.

Let’s not steal it away from one another by entertaining jealous thoughts and actions.

WE rally around mis-fortune.

Extending, love, prayers, condolences etc –  hope for better times and healing….

SO when those times arrive.  Let’s rally those too.

It is such a beautiful thing.
