Good morning crafty Unity friends! Echo here with another stamping therapy Thursday session! I have a fun technique and tutorial video to show you today using the Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers & MISTI. Zig Clean Color Real brush makers are a dye based marker that you can stamp and watercolor with. There are many ways to use these markers. Today I will be showing you how to use them with the MISTI. Having a MISTI is key for this technique or any stamping platform where you can re stamp the same image multiple times. This is a fun way to use your silhouette stamps without stamping in just one color. Making the most out of the silhouette stamps. Here is a look at the cards I made in the tutorial video using Donna Downey- Wild Poppy Silhouette kit.
This stamp is a large silhouette stamp. Which makes it fun for this technique. I used two different sentiments from two different Kit of the Months (KOTM) First card the sentiment is from July 2017- It’s going to be Beautiful KOTM and the second card the sentiment is from January 2017- When you Smile KOTM. Unity has the best sentiments that work perfect for this technique!

Paper and some information about Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.
For this technique I used Bristol paper. Regular white card stock would work great as well. When using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers for watercoloring I prefer Bristol paper. The one draw back of using Bristol paper is you can over wet the paper and it will peel. If you like to watercolor with lots of water then using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers with watercolor paper is ideal. Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers can be used with regular white card stock. It is just difficult to get the color to move with water but works great for this technique of regular stamping with no use of water.
Samples in different colors.
Here is two more cards done with the same technique using different colors and sentiments.
First card sentiment is from April 2017- Be My Bird KOTM and for the second card the sentiment is from May 2017- Free Your Dreams KOTM. The Zig brush markers I used in the blues from the lightest to darkest. Light blue- 036, Cobalt blue 031, and Persian blue 032.
Here is two more cards done with the same technique using different colors and sentiments.
First card sentiment is from December 2017- Start of Something New KOTM and for the second card the sentiment is from May 2016- A Summer Story KOTM. The Zig brush markers I used in the purple from the lightest to darkest. Lilac 083, Light Violet 081, and Purple 082.
Thats our time for today! I hope you enjoyed todays stamp therapy session using Zig Clean color Real Brush markers & MISTI. If you try this technique what colors would you use?
