Hi there Unity friends! Color Combos with Crystal is the synonym for Tuesday 😉 For this post I am stretching my stamps by featuring You Are My Happy and the lovely flowers from December 2017 Kit of the Month.
This color combo features a soft and vibrant vibe, don’t you think? The colors are as follows: (please note I am using Stampin’ Up inks, but feel free to use your favorite brand)
Green: Lemon Lime Twist
Blue: Pool Party
Off White: Very Vanilla
Light Brown: Soft Suede
Who would have thought that a light brown would co-ordinate with a lime green right?! To make this card I followed the following steps:
- Trim Pool Party card stock to be the card base.
- Stamp sentiment You Are My Happy repetitively with Pool Party Ink, set aside.
- Trim Lemon Lime Twist card stock on the center of the card and repeat step 2 with Lemon Lime Twist Ink.
- Cut rectangular shape of Very Vanilla card stock, stamp with flower image from December 2017 Kit of the Month.
- Tie soft suede twine around the stamped rectangular shape.
- Adhere the lime card stock over the pool party with flat adhesive
- With foam adhesive place the rectangular over the lime.
