Good morning! Heather here today to share a couple of cards I made with a vintage feel, and using some pattern paper layers. I doubt I’m the only one guilty of paper hoarding, and adding layers on a card is a simple way to use all those papers you love instead of leaving them sitting and collecting until you have too many to use!
Here is a video I made sharing some of my process on this card, as well as a few tips along the way:
Swoon! I really do love pretty pattern paper – getting a new paper pad is always so fun! And could this little So Empty Coffee stamp set be any cuter?!?!?
As I mention in the video, a great way to mix and match paper layers is by using papers from the same manufacturer, even if you switch up the paper pads. This helps guarantee the colors will work well together.
I also made a bonus card using the same layout and another adorable punny stamp set – Complete Me Donut!
I left the images uncolored – with all the pattern paper on there, I didn’t want to make the card too busy. And these are SOOO cute all on their own!
I know the doily and bow might stretch it a bit, but I feel like this card could possibly pass for a masculine card with the blue? What do you think?
So cute, right? Which one is your favorite?
Hope this inspires you to layer up some pattern paper in your stash – can’t wait to see what you make! Thanks for stopping by – and have a wonderful day!
