Hi guys! Crystal here with a fun self challenge for the month of April. For this month, I thought I’d be fun to pick 1 set of color combinations and creating a different card for each one! By doing this I thought it would be easy to create several different cards in one sitting.
This color combination is striking yet not used very much. The colors are just right for the anticipation of a warmer spring. Don’t you think?
To make this card I began by placing the stamp set Open Bloom Background on my stamp positioner. 2. Starting with darkest to lightest, inking up each place on the stamp with a different color ink. 3. Cut the excess, non stamped image and place on the card base with foam adhesive. 4. Add a word die cut of choice. 4. Finish with black Nuvo drops.
I selected the black die cut word of “happy” because I wanted to have the option to write “birthday” or “anniversary” in the interior of the card.
I of course created a set 4 videos to coordinate with this color combinations, so I hope that you come back next Tuesday for the second card.
Thanks so much for joining me today.
