Good morning! Heather here today with a glamorous card featuring Gold Gilding Flakes, and an elegant color combo of black, white, and gold! I used the beautiful Windswept Petals Background stamp, and my sentiment came from Let Your Wishes Fly (July 2016 Sentiment Kit).
I recently got some Gold Gilding flakes and was excited to give them a try – here is the video showing how I used them on this card:
After the video, it still felt like it needed something, so I ended up adding some gold seed beads to the centers of the flowers. I used Glossy Accents to fill in the centers, then sprinkled on the beads and pressed them into place – and of course, allowed them to dry very thoroughly!
The front panel, and sentiment panel, were both adhered with foam adhesive for simple dimension to this card. What about you – have you ever tried gilding flakes? Or do you want to try them now?
