Heat Embossing with Dye Inks

April 30, 2018 - by Houses Built of Cards

Heat Embossing with Dye Inks

Good morning! Heather here to share a fun way to use your dye inks and still add heat embossing to your card creations! For this colorful one layer card I used the April 2015 Sentiment Kit – Thanks Above & Beyond:

Check out the shine and shimmer from the clear embossing!

Here is the video sharing my process (which I originally saw from Jennifer McGuire a few years ago – just FYI):

I had fun using a rainbow of dye inks (and yes…I know orange is missing – but I took some liberty!) 🙂

One of the best parts about this card is that it is flat and easy to mail – and would also be super easy to recreate with a variety of different colors to have on hand for thank you cards – because who DOESN’T need thank you cards on hand?!?!?

Another peek at the shine from the embossing powder:

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!
