In this era of technology we have become very comfortable with relying on our Social Media accounts to house our memories, thoughts, and special events. We post our photos to Instagram – or Facebook and take the stance that they will be there forever for us to go back to.
What if that is not the case? What if someday our entire story line disappears – and all our memories go with it? I enjoy so much looking back on my thoughts and photos from 4,5,6 years ago – EVEN 1 year ago! I see the growth physically of my grandson – I witness the growth emotionally from where I have been at in the past to where I am now. I smile at the good times I have had with friends and family. All of this makes me very much want to KEEP those memories always!
So that is what I have been doing on our LIVE Videos – Making a JOURNAL to capture my Social Media and making my thoughts, and photos tangible in a FUN, sometimes messy, imperfect, but treasured book.
Today I am simply going to share what I have made – this far. It’s been so fun printing out the photos and the posts from my Facebook and Instagram. One day – 30 years from now – I can see me sharing these journals with my grand-children, and being so grateful that I can share something tangible, not through an electronic device of any sort. I know these books will be treasured, if by nobody else at all, at least by me. 🙂
Making your Instagram, SnapChat, Facebook and other social media venues tangible. It’s so important to hold on to your memories as you create new ones. There may be a day you or your loved ones would rather hold your memories in their hand than stare at it or search for it on a computer or phone. This is one way to capture your most adored moments, or insightful quotes that you love, – or even your rambling thoughts as you go through life. – It’s time to make them tangible. It is SO FUN to create!

loving.
expressing.

holding on.
letting go.
changing.
creating.
remembering.
…and that’s just a start.
