Hi everyone, Laurel here and I am sharing a layout once again. I don’t know about you, but when I see papers or stamps that are themed… I sometimes have a hard time seeing beyond that and using them in different ways.
For instance, the Thankful-Gratitude-Family SMAK set. I got it for some Thanksgiving projects and then they have been sitting…. I love it but didn’t use it enough until today 😉
Last fall, I got some 4 generation photos taken of my mom, myself, my oldest daughter and my grand daughter. I love them and will for sure be scrapping more of them. This is the first one.
I stamped the heart from the kit on pattern paper and used it as a focus for the cluster on the photo. The sentiment is from the Treasure to Me stamp set. Perfect sentiment for the photo as I will treasure these photos and I do hope that my grand daughter will too.
I then used the Small Things Matter Most KOM to stamp the word grandma.
Note the denim…. I love to add it when I can and I thought it suited this layout…. but I added it for another reason too. Earth day is coming up and I LOVE to upcycle so I thought what a great time to do a bit of upcycling and really carry out the theme.
