Happy day friends! Crystal here with my third installment to the month of May Kraft Color Combo series. I am so excited to be sharing this card made with the gorgeous florals from Wild Florals kit and Mother sentiment from from Grow in Grace.
If you have not seen this set yet, you should definitely check it out; the series HERE and second one HERE
In my project for this post, the Copic coloring placed on the stamped kraft creates a mesmerizing effect! I specially love the contrast it provides. This would be easy to re-create and mass produce this to keep in your card stash. Just switch the sentiments if need be!
To make this card, I have stamped the Wild Florals twice on the kraft. Then while that dried, I stamped the Wild Florals on white cardstock. Then I used my Copics to color the flowers. I started with light blue on the entirety of the flower. Then used a medium shade to blend from the center of the flower towards the mid section of the petal. Next, I used the darkest of the blue from the center of the flower and then feathered again towards the mid section of the center area of the medium shade.
Once that was flower was colored, I hand cut around it, rimmed the flowers with a black marker. Then I placed the flower with foam adhesive over the flowers that I stamped on the kraft.
Before moving on to add the Nuvo drops, I stamped the sentiment from Grow in grace sentiment kit. Once I was done stamping, I added black Nuvo drops in a variety of sizes around the leaves.
