Hi everyone, Laurel here again with some quick and easy teacher themed gift tags. I live in Canada and our schools go later so there is lots of time left for us to prepare gifts 😉 In fact, I teach grade one and my last day is June 29th – soooo…. far away! LOL
Anyways, I know many of you like to give little teacher gifts so today I have created some tags using… yes once again, one of my favorites – Vintage Ledger. Have I convinced you yet that you need this stamp?!
I stamped the Vintage Ledger stamp a few times on some kraft paper and then used a tag die to cut out. I then stamped the Gurnsey Gingham on some green cardstock and once again, used a die to cut out a square shape. Once these were layered on I went to work creating some tags.
First up, when I think of teacher I think of apple so I created a tag using the Apple Stamping set – which works great stamped on so many surfaces. Once I painted a terra cotta pot with black chalkboard paint and then stamped this in white – looked great (you can see that here)
A little bit of washi tape and some staples and done.
Next up, others on the thank you list might be EAs (Educational Assistants), music teachers, librarians, bus drivers… so I kept with the fruit theme but this time used the Berry Sweet Moments stamp set.
I paper pieced the fruit and mounted on foam squares. The sentiment has been cut apart and a die cut sentiment added for some interest.
I thought these tags would work great attached to a variety of things – homemade soaps, tea, some sweet treats in a mug…. a number of things. They are quick and easy and really add to the presentation of the gift.
What teacher gifts do you like to give?
