Hello, it’s Gaylynn here with another installment of my Watercolor Wednesday series. Today, I am sharing a way to make golden watercolor flowers using three step stamping.
Today’s technique focuses on three step stamping with golden watercolor flowers. When used with a darker background, the gold and silver shimmer shines nicely and creates an elegant look. This card is perfect for a birthday or celebration occasion.
Sentiment: You deserve lots of presents today.

Hey Friend
For this project, I made a quick video tutorial for this three-step stamping watercolor floral card. It includes instructions along the way throughout the video. However, a written process follows below.
Three Step Stamping Card with Gold Watercolor Flowers

(See also the video tutorial for this project.)
To begin, add watercolor in the lightest shade directly onto the solid stamps. Then stamp onto any smooth dark cardstock.
Using a stamp positioner, like the Misti, repeat stamping if preferred. I used light gold.
I used a brush to blend out the color on the paper.
Next, add a darker shade of gold watercolor to the middle stamp layer.
For the last layer, use the outline stamp with either silver or white color. I used permanent StazOn white ink for this last layer.
Heat set between layers. Use the stamp backing to mask the flowers.
Finally, add watercolor splatters in white and gold. Assemble the card.
Here is another look at this card.
