How to Use Layering Stamps 2 Ways

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great day! I am so excited to be up on the blog today featuring one of our newest stamp sets- Step Out Peony.

I have been beggingggggg for a layering stamp set in our luscious red rubber for some time– Angie Blom made my dreams come true. Florals and layering– can ya really go wrong? I think not.

I know you might be thinking- “well how do you line up rubber layering stamps?” I know. I thought the same thing! So my husband and I teamed up to come up with what we like to call the ‘point system.’

Simply lay your first stamp down on your card base face down– then take a pencil and put a light dot or line where each of those points are– stamp- and then just line each layer to those points. Easy peasy.

I made 2 different cards with this stamp set- For the first card I stamped each layer of the floral for a clean and simple look.

When I saw these outlines I immediately thought about watercoloring them– This stamp set is super versatile because you can stamp out each layer with ink to create a stunning floral– or simply stamp the outlines and color it in. That’s what I did with this card– Simply stamped the outline images and used watercolors.
