Happy Thursday! Welcome back to another stamping therapy session. Today I have a video tutorial for you on monochromatic watercoloring! I finally got my hands on some VersaFine Clair inks. These inks are so vibrant. They are also waterproof or you can emboss with them. All around great ink! Unity has them in the shop. Click here to check out all the beautiful ink colors that are available.
I thought it would be so much fun to create some monochromatic cards with this beautiful floral stamp and since I wanted to use the VersaFine Clair inks. It only made sense to do some watercoloring.
Kits used:
You are Forever Beautiful and Hug
Monochromatic watercoloring
I thought it would be fun to try it in different colors as well.
I used VersaFine Clair ink in purple delight and watercolored in purple.
I used VersaFine Clair ink in summertime and watercolored in orange
I used Canson 140lb cold press watercolor paper and Mijello mission gold watercolors.
I hope you found some inspiration on monochromatic watercoloring. If you try this technique out for yourself, tag me over on the Unity Show and Tell Facebook group. I would love to see what you make with this technique. I love seeing your creations so much. If you missed last weeks stamping therapy post. Click here to take you to that blog post on 3 ways to use gelatos with stamps. That is our time for today!
Thank you so much for joining me this Thursday.
Until next time, stamp on!
