Hello, it’s Gaylynn here with another installment of my Watercolor Wednesday series. Here are pretty watercolor daisies or coneflowers. I am sharing a way to color white flowers to make them pop.
For this project, I am sharing watercolor daisies or coneflowers stamping along with the Altenew watercolor 36 half pans set. I used a mix of colors and layers to create different intensities and shades. This was fun to do and I love the outcome.
Sentiment: Thankful for you.

I made a quick video tutorial for this. It includes instructions along the way throughout the video. However, a written process follows below.

(See also the video tutorial for this project.)
Pre-stamp onto watercolor paper with waterproof ink. Prepare your watercolor palette by mixing water with colors that you want.
I wanted the white daisies to pop. Adding light gray gives them a natural look against the background.
I am using the Altenew Watercolor 36 Half Pans for this card. I also mixed some to make my own hues for this.
Dry between the layers that you don’t want to be blended. Add colors and layers to the flowers and to the background.
I decided to use watercolor brushes on this card. But this watercolor set comes with a water brush.
For the background, I added layers of blue, allowing them to blend together with water.
Assemble the card and embellishments, to finish.
Here is another look.

Catch me next Wednesday with a new project for Unity’s Watercolor Wednesday. Thanks so much for visiting.
Wishing you a wonderful day.
