For the love of Mushrooms

For the love of Mushrooms

Hi all Amanda here with another Step It Out Thursday, For The Love Of Mushrooms!!!

I love Mushroom Stamps and Unity has some great ones. Today I created my 3 cards with the cute stamp set called Slow & Steady

The first one is done with Copic markers and Black Soot Distress ink

Kits used:

Slow & Steady

Happy Snail Mail

I stamped the image with Amalgam ink and then colored it with Copic markers.

I then used a mask to cover up my stamped Image and used black Soot distress ink to shade around the image.

Then I used white paint and splattered the top for the stars.

I backed it with black card stock to make things Pop!

For The Love Of Mushrooms, I just love this stamp set!

For this one I colored it with copic markers but I wanted to give it a little more depth so I added Prismacolor pencils for some shading. I also did some highlight shading around everything.

I used Gamsol to smooth out the color pencil shading.

Gamsol is so easy to use and gives your work a professional look.

sentiment kit used:

I want you to know

I colored the image with copic markers and added a blue shading around them.

I cut the image out with a spelbinders die and used adhesive foam dots to adhere it to craft cardstock that i ran through my big shot using wood grain folder.

For the inside of my cards I wanted to dress it up a little so I stamped the image again inside with antique linen disterss ink.

I like adding that little something extra on the inside of cards, its a fun little surprise for the recipient.

Well that’s our time today, I hope you’ve enjoyed your stop, and as always Keep Stamping!
