Hello, it’s Gaylynn here with another installment of my Watercolor Wednesday series. This winter foliage card combines stamping and watercolor with a little fussy cutting.
This winter foliage holiday card was made by combining stamping and watercolor. I first stamped with Ranger Archival ink onto watercolor paper and then added Altenew watercolor. To give it dimension, I fussy cut the leaves to make a top border. It was further embellished with adhesive gems and lots of Nuvo drops to mimic dew drops or snow. See the full tutorial and video, below.
Sentiment: May this Winter bring peace & serenity.

A Christmas Hello
I made a quick video tutorial for this. It includes instructions along the way throughout the video. However, the written process follows below.

(See also the video tutorial for this project.)
Stamp onto watercolor paper with Ranger Archival or waterproof ink.
I used fern green, red geranium and coffee colors.
Watercolor the foliage, in layers. I used Altenew watercolors.
For the background, add a water layer. Then dab light blue into the main background puddles. Allow the color to move and blend.
Repeat with a light yellow background for the pine layer. Heat set.
Trim the pine layer to make a top border above the florals.
To finish, add adhesive gems and Nuvo crystal drops.
Here is another look.
