Christmas Spotlight Cards

Christmas Spotlight Cards

Hi all and welcome back to another Step It Out Thursday!

Today I want to share some Christmas Spotlight cards I have created!  One wouldn’t normally think of Giraffes as a Christmas or Winter Greetings card but this set is soooo much fun!  OK enough rambling lets take a look!

Kits Used:

Scarf In Winter

Love Bug Christmas

Oh that cute face, so cute! I have paper pieced his scarf  just for fun!

I colored this one up with Copic markers and the background I used Tim Holtz Distress inks. I started with Tumbled Glass, then Mermaid Lagoon, and ended with Faded Jeans.

By Using 2 different die-cuts I created a fun little frame, a stitched boarder and then a cut out circle on the inside.

From this same kit I used the snowflakes and stamped them in Versa-mark ink with white embossing powder.

I fussy Cut out the scarf and the Giraffe and then Glued it down behind the circle.

Here is a little video of how I created this card.

Kits Used:

Mittens IN WInter

Our House To Yours

This CUTE little Penguin is always a go to favorite for me!

I colored this adorable Penguin with copic marker,  and then fussy cut it out while leaving a white boarder around him so he POPS off the card.

I Used Die-cuts to create a frame and the stitched boarders.

Using a heat gun and White embossing powder, I stamped the sentiment on black cardstock.

For my little something extra I tied on some cute Christmas string to really bring out the red in the card.

Here is a little Video of how I created this card.

I love to create cards like this. You can use up your Patterned paper or create your own background. I hope you give this a try and if you do be sure to tag me so I can love on your creations over on the Untiy Show & Tell.

Well That’s all the time we have for today, thanks for stopping by, and as always Keep Stamping!
