Hello, it’s Gaylynn here with another installment of my Watercolor Wednesday series. Here is a way to combine ColorBox stamping and watercolor flowers.
This all occasion card in watercolor flowers was made by combining Clearsnap ColorBox ink stamping and watercolor. I first stamped with navy ColorBox ink onto watercolor paper and then added Altenew watercolor. I share the process of getting this vibrant yet dreamy floral look.

I made a quick video tutorial for this. It includes instructions along the way throughout the video. However, the written process follows below.
ColorBox Stamping with Watercolor Flowers

(See also the video tutorial for this project.)
Stamp onto trimmed or die-cut watercolor paper with navy Clearsnap ColorBox ink.
Then heat emboss the florals and the sentiment with clear embossing powder.
Watercolor one section at a time layering watercolor as you go along.
Heat set between colors and layers for the detailed areas.
To highlight, remove wet color with a damp brush onto a paper towel.
To highlight the background, add water to the paper first.
Then add dabs of light pink. Allow it to blend, adding water if necessary.
Once dry, adhere the layers and sequins.
Here is another look.
