Hello, it’s Gaylynn here with another installment of my Watercolor Wednesday series. Today I am using two color mediums for this watercolor Christmas card.
This card was stamped, die-cut and then color was added. For this watercolor Christmas card, I used two color mediums. For detailed areas, colored pens were used. I used watercolor for the rest of the card. Both Staedtler triplus fineliner colored pens and Sakura Koi watercolor were used.
Sentiment: Merry Christmas. May your season be filled with joy and wonder.
Unity Stamp Co. product used:
In addition, I used patterned paper layers along with watercolor paper. For embellishment, I used twine and adhesive gems. Finally, with a mix of color mediums, this card came to life.
I made a quick video tutorial for this. It includes instructions along the way throughout the video. However, the written process follows.

(See also the video tutorial for this project.)
To begin, pre-stamp with waterproof ink. Trim or die-cut the panels. Use colored pens for detailed color.
Staedtler Triplus Fineliner pens were used with Sakura Koi watercolor.
Watercolor was added to the background. I blended where the colors meet. The color was heat set.
Watercolor was added to the tree and stars and then heat set again.
Finally, everything was layered to finish.
Here is another look.
