Good morning! This is Heather, and today I have a few simple Sympathy Cards to share. Sympathy cards are one of those things that I hate to make when I actually need them, so I usually try to have a few on hand and ready when I need them. Unity has a beautiful sentiment kit that is one of my favorites for Sympathy Cards – Beautiful Life, Blessed Memories (February 2015 sentiment kit)
Here is the video sharing how I put these together:
I decided to heat emboss on vellum for these cards – one of my favorite techniques. I love the ethereal quality it gives the images and sentiments.
I chose very simple pattern papers for the backdrop to my heat embossed vellum panels.
The first two cards I attached the vellum with a simple row of machine stitching.
For this finaly card, I punched a couple of holes through the vellum and pattern paper, and looped through some White Sheer Organza Ribbon to attach them together.
Do you like to create a stash of Sympathy cards to have on hand?
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!
