Hello, it’s Gaylynn here with another installment of my Watercolor Wednesday series. Here is a set of Christmas nativity watercolor gift tags using inktense watercolor pencils.
With watercolor pencils in three different colors and a little trimming, these watercolor gift tags came to life. I used light shades and then die-cut layers to finish the tags.

I made a quick video tutorial for this. It includes instructions along the way throughout the video. However, the written process follows.

(See also the video tutorial for this project.)
Stamp onto watercolor paper with waterproof ink. I used Ranger archival ink and the Misti stamp positioning tool.
Before adding color to the stamping, apply a layer of water where you want the first color.
For watercolor, I used Derwent Inktense watercolor pencils. I applied pencil to a plastic craft mat and also picked up color from the pencil tips directly.
I mixed each color with water and then added color in sections, drying between colors for these tags.
Repeat the process with another color until you get the look that you want. Heat set.
Trim or die-cut to suit. I used tag shaped die-cut layers, adding a hole-punch and twine for these holiday tags.
Here is another look.
