Hi Amanda here with another Step It Out Thursday. Today is a quick card because there is always that last person on your list you may have forgotten about and needed to get a card sent out to.
I used Kit Winter Blessing. It is a great kit for those in a pinch cards.
I stamped it with VersaMark Ink on watercolor paper, and then heat embossed it with Gold Embossing powder.
Gold Embossing powder always is classy at Christmas time, don’t you think?
To watercolor it I used peeled paint distress ink and not worrying to much about it being perfect.
Using Black Soot I took my fan brush and splattered some black ink in the white areas. You can never go wrong with black splatter.
The stars are Recollections and they add a nice shimmer to the card, But I thought it needed some red so I also added some Washi to it.
I always seem to need to add Jute or string to my card and I really liked the idea that it made it look like a package.
It really is just that simple, and fast. Here is a video to just how I did this card take a look.
