Good morning! Heather here with a super glittery and sparkly card to share with you! Just a warning – if you can’t stand glitter getting a little bit of everywhere, you MAY want to run away now! I, however, think the glitter is worth it for this beautiful frosty effect! And while this is a Christmas card, this technique would be SUPER easy to recreate with any floral stamp and a different sentiment. For this card I used Whatever Keeps you Warm for the lovely florals, and Sending Christmas Blessings for the sentiment.
Here is this week’s video showing how this all came together:
I colored the image before I started the video – since my purpose was to focus on how I added the glitter – but in case you were wondering, here is a list of the Copic markers I used: R17, R29, R56, YG03, YG17, YG67, Y21, Y38, E15, and E37
I did some die cutting to create the background – and the die cut an oval so that I had somewhere smooth to stamp my sentiment. You could skip those layers, or just add some pattern paper and solid cardstock if you prefer! What do you think? Is glitter worth the mess? Or do you prefer to skip the mess?
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!
