Hi, it’s Gaylynn here with another installment of my Watercolor Wednesday series. For this card, I used spray ink for watercolor along with gold heat embossing.
This card was stamped and then heat embossed in gold. Watercolor was added by using two shades of ink spray bottles. Ink drops were used instead of actually spraying the ink. I find this much easier to work with.
Sentiment: Congratulations on your new home.

I made a quick video tutorial for this. It includes instructions along the way throughout the video. However, the written process follows.
Ink Spray Watercolor Card with Gold Heat Embossing
By Gaylynn Martling for Unity’s Watercolor Wednesday
(See also the video tutorial for this project.)
To begin, add powder to the image panel prior to embossing, to prevent stray embossing powder.
Stamp onto watercolor paper with watermark ink like VersaMark. Heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
For watercolor, I used two colors of Dylusions ink spray bottles by. Instead of spraying, I poured drops of each color onto a craft mat.
I misted water over the stamped panel. Then, I added color one at a time using a brush, allowing the colors to blend where they meet.
Blot with a paper towel and then heat set.
An option is to stamp the envelope with ink using the same stamp.
Finally, assemble the card and embellishments.
Here are more images.
I stamped the envelope to match.
