Happy Thursday and welcome to another edition of Quick Cards. Get in, get out quickly with a great card.
The Project
Today’s quick card took 11:05 and I made it colorful by smooshing Distress Ink onto my image using an acrylic block and a scrap of plastic packaging. It’s a quick and easy way to add color, without taking a lot of time.
The Steps
Gather supplies, stamp, water resistant ink, various Distress Ink or pigment ink, or watercolors, acrylic blocks and/or piece of plastic.
After stamping image on watercolor paper, smoosh ink on mat, spritz with water.
Pick up ink onto acrylic block or plastic and smoosh onto stamped image.
I used a small piece of plastic to color the smaller areas of the leaves.
I finished off by adding a sentiment and matting on a coordinating color of cardstock.
