Hi there! Welcome to my turn on the Unity blog for Color Combos with Crystal. Today we are working with the Faith & Hope stamp set and a gorgeous color combination. This color combination was inspired by a very odd sky coloring a few nights ago. We had a snow storm coming through and the colors of the clouds and sunset was about what you see below.
The colors used are Distress Oxides in Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Peacock Feathers and Tumbled glass. 
To make this card, I have stamped the images from Faith & Hope stamp set with black alcohol marker friendly ink on to Neenah White 110lb cardstock. And colored the images with my Copics. Once those were done, I hand cut the images, however there are cut files available on the Unity store if you rather do that. 🙂 Then set aside to start blending.
For this card you will need two additional pieces of cardstock. This card is matted over white, so trim your top piece to show off the white bottom. Begin blending from the right bottom corner with the pink and move on to purple, dark blue, and finishing off with light blue.
The sentiment is heat embossed in gold on basic black cardstock. Now it’s time to assemble the whole thing. Begin by placing the ink blended cardstock onto the white cardbase with double sided adhesive foam. Then place the flowers on to the card with adhesive, layering them a tad. Add the sweet hummingbird to the top floral. The sentiment goes a bit under the hummingbird with foam adhesive, then the whole card is finished up with some diamond and gold jewels.
I think the color blending really makes the flowers pop, yet it provides a good base for the Faith & Hope images.
