Robin Egg Easter Card | Color Combos with Crystal

March 19, 2019 - by Crystal Thompson

Robin Egg Easter Card | Color Combos with Crystal

Hey guys! Crystal here for Unity. Today, we are doing a diy easter card with a gorgeous robin egg stamp using some gorgeous Unity stamp.

To start, you will need the Everything Easter stamp, two pieces of cardstock and the chocolate chip for the flickers. You can use any color you want and we’re gonna be using Nuvo Drops Clear for adhesive and some Wow Glitter Sparkles or any glitter will do, and of course a water  brush.

Let’s get started!

To start making the easter card, we will begin by stamping a shape onto a card stock with a brown ink. I used blue card stock because this is for a pool party. Then stamp the sentiment right on the center of the shape. Get your scissors and start cutting around the shape.

We will then grab more of the chocolate chip and on an acrylic block, we’re going to add some of that color, add some water and using the water brush sprinkle the whole cardstock base with the brown color. When it dries up, it going to be a really pretty brown and it’s gonna look like a robin egg.

Once it dried up, put foam adhesive on the back of the shape then add some clear glue to the edges and some little drops to the actual car base. Grab your glitter and sprinkle on the edges that are wet. I’m doing it in two parts, one half first and then do the second half.

Peel off the backing of the foam adhesive at the back of the shape then place the shape on the center of the robin egg cardstock and then that’s it!

What do you think of this card? What do you feel about this happy easter card? Let me know in the comments section, on the Youtube Channel

Thank you so much for joining me today and come back another Color Combos with Crystal.
