Hey guys, Crystal Thompson here for Color Combos with Crystal. Today, we are crazy for daisies making this gorgeous easter card inspired by some spring color.
For this card, you’re gonna be needing the Crazy for Daisies Stamp Set. This is a gorgeous assortment of florals and leaves. We’re also gonna be using the Black Ink Pad along with the Blushing Bride which is a pink, So Saffron which is a light yellow, we’re doing some Pool Party for the blue and Calypso Coral for the coral color, White and Pool Party embossing cardstock.
We’re going to begin by doing the outlines of the black first, with the black ink, we’re gonna be using two of the flowers from the Crazy for Daisies, and just stamping lightly over the embossing cardstock. Coming in with the second floral and stamping those on the white embossing cardstock. The reason I chose this is because this has more thin lines.
Once, we’re done with that, we’re gonna move on to using the other two florals we haven’t used, grab Pool Party and stamp that directly on to the card base. We’re gonna grab the other stamp set and grab the So Saffron and add a couple of those florals again. Clean up the stamp sets and we’re gonna add some of those Blushing Bride, which is a really pale pink and super pretty. And then, we’re gonna do the Calypso Coral. I like leaving the darkest colors to the end and make those really pop but not overdo the entire image.
For the sentiment, we are gonna be using The Everything Easter Stamp Set on to some Pool Party embossing cardstock. We’re gonna stamp the sentiment with black ink. So this is super easy, no embossing required. Ink that up and stamp at the center of your strip. And it is ready to go. We’re gonna be using some foam adhesive, put it on the back of the strip and place it right on your card. You can use some embellishments, I decided to use some clear sequins and just put those in between the florals.
And that does it! Thank you so much for joining me today and I hope you have a beautiful easter.
