Hi, it’s Gaylynn here with another installment of my Watercolor Wednesday series.
Today, I am sharing a way to create an underwater tropical watercolor scene with fish included.
This fish themed tropical watercolor card would be perfect for encouragement or any time. It was first stamped and then heat embossed in white. Watercolor was added to the background and to the fish. To finish, everything was layered, embellished and framed.
Sentiment: Just keep swimming.
Helpful tips:
This was fun to do. It was made using a few different steps, which are detailed in the included video.
Trim or die-cut pieces beforehand to make the process easier. Use the emboss resist technique to create the soft look of tropical watercolor. Fussy cut the fish and then add them to the ocean background.
