Hi, it’s Gaylynn here with another installment of my Watercolor Wednesday series.
For this project, I will share a way to add watercolor floral detail to a card along with gold embossing..
For this card, I first die-cut a rectangle background. I then die-cut a curved detail over the rectangle to get a separated background look to the card. Watercolor paper was used to stamp. Then, watercolor floral detail was added to the flowers and to the leaves. This tutorial will show how to create watercolor detail along with gold embossing.
Sentiment: Hello my dear friend.
Helpful tips:
This was made using a few different steps, which are detailed in the included video.
Trim or die-cut background shapes or pieces beforehand to make the process easier. Heat emboss or just stamp the sentiment and the flowers onto watercolor paper with waterproof ink. Add your choice of watercolor. To finish, assemble and embellish the card.
