Hi there! Today on Color Combos with Crystal we have a vintage-inspired stamping card by using dye inks to stamp and adding some water to get some fun effects.
For this card you will be needing the following items:
- Start of Something New KOMĀ
- Dye Inks
- White Cardstock or Watercolor Cardstock
- Waterbrush or Brush
- Acetate sheet or acrylic block
To begin you will be stamping the large floral from Start of Something New KOM
on to a white cardstock preferably 110lb cardstock. Once that is stamped in the brown dye ink get the ink on the acetate grab the color with your water brush and color the florals with the dye inks.
Allow time to dry and color the edges of the floral cluster with an ink color that matches the cardstock. Once that is dried up, tear the edges and place the torn piece over the color cardstock.
Stamp the sentiment on matching the cardstock, dab water to get the ink to spread a bit.
Of course, I added a fun video.
Thanks!
Crystal
