Hello. It’s Gaylynn here with another installment of my Watercolor Wednesday series.
I am sharing a way to add watercolor stars as card accents. Also, I share a way to blend ink for a bit of ombre stamping.
This is a fun birthday card for anyone. It includes watercolor stars as well as ombre style stamping.
Sentiment: Happy birthday.
Helpful tips:
To begin, I first stamped the happy birthday sentiment in two colors. I added darker ink over part of the light stamping to get a blended ink look. Then, I made a panel with only watercolor. Watercolor stars were die-cut from the watercolor panel. (Punches can also be used in different shapes to get a similar look.) Everything was layered to finish.
