Hi, there friends! Crystal here for Color Combos with Crystal. Today I have a very EASY Watercolor Burst card using the newest stamp set released this past week called Shimmer and Shine. The idea behind this card was to make something that was easy, yet very colorful and fun. The color combination is the following image.
I struggle with easy cards that are colorful and I find that watercolor burst resist technique is an easy GO-TO option.
To make this you will need:
Watercolor paper
watercolors
White Embossing powder + heat embossing accessories
Water Brush
To make this:
1. Stamp image with watermark ink and heat emboss in white. Follow with the sentiment.
2. With Watercolors start blue, purple, light blue, green and finish off with yellow. Adding water between each layer so these may blend.
3. With Black watercolor, brush color on the back to really get this white sentiment to pop out
4. Flicker the watercolor splatters on the card to add dimension.

Really this card is very simple and a fun way to use your larger stamps such as Shimer and Shine.
