Good morning! I’m back today for the weekly Monday feature for me here on the Unity Stamp Company Blog! So happy that I will be featuring the AMAZING Unity Kit of the Month set on Mondays here on the blog. These kits are always AMAZING, and they hold a special place in my heart since they were the first thing I purchased from Unity, and what got me hooked on Unity to begin with. Today I have a simple little bit of watercolor, and a fun paper lace edge using a doily!

In hindsight, I kind of wished I’d watercolored the mug in that soft olive green to match the pattern paper, but wasn’t thinking ahead super well at the moment I was doing my coloring!
Isn’t it fun how the lacy edge of a doily can create a straight border as well?
Not entirely necessary, but I added a row of machine stitching to hold that lace right where I wanted it, then attached that panel with foam adhesive over my pattern paper.
