Hi there! Crystal here with Color Combos with Crystal. On this Tuesday we are making the EASIEST Christmas cars ever with the beautiful newest pattern paper release from Unity Stamp Co. If you didn’t know Unity now carries pattern paper packs, and of course, they match beautifully with the Unity stamps.
For today’s project we are using the Winter Rustic Wishes, which includes a beautiful array of Christmas and non-Christmas paper perfect for today’s project.
Also, needed for today’s set of cards, is white embossing powder, your card bases and white watercolor. And the beautiful A Joyous Season stamp set.
To make this card we are trimming the pattern paper to match the card bases, in this case, 4.25 by 5.50.
Once you have trimmed up the pattern paper, use your embossing buddy to add some cornstarch and remove any static from your paper, then proceed to stamp the sentiment with watermark ink and covering the whole thing with white embossing powder. Heat set with your heat gun.
To embellish, use your water brush and grab some of your white watercolors and splatter the watercolor of the stamping.
I really love this set of cards as it made it super easy, the embossing adds dimension and the whole thing is very mail friendly which would make it affordable to mail.
