Hi there! Crystal here with a super easy Thank you card using some Fall Inspired Colors. The technique we are mastering today is the ever-faithful Watercolor Heat Embossing Resist. For today’s project you will need the following items:
- Unity Stamp Co. Obsessively Grateful
- Unity Stamp Co. Array of FallĀ
- White Heat Embossing Powder
- Watercolor Cardstock
- Watercolor Markers
- Gray Cardstock
- Foam Adhesive
- Scissors
- Gray Clear Nuvo Drops
To begin making this fall thank you card, begin by stamping the leaves from the Obsessively Grateful stamp set on to watercolor cardstock. Then cover the clear ink with white embossing powder and heat set.
Next, cut up all the leaves with your scissors, and get ready to watercolor.
Using Watercolor Markers OR any watercolors color your leaves. By using 2 or more colors per leaf will allow a more natural and realistic look.
Once those are all colored up, set aside to dry and place foam adhesive on the back.
To put the card together, mat white cardstock over gray and stamp the sentiment from the Array of Fall on to matching gray cardstock. Trim and place foam.
Proceed to place all your leaves on the center of the card, then place the heat embossed sentiment over the clump of leaves.
For embellishment purposes, add the Gray Nuvo Drops.
That does it for this easy fall-inspired card! I have a full video tutorial for you to watch.
Hope you are enjoying your second day off Fall!
xoxo,
