Yummy Stamp Challenge
Hello all. For my last week as a challenge host and guest blogger, I have a DELICIOUS challenge for you. This week your challenge is to use Unity food and drink stamps to make a delectable project. I’ve got 5 sample projects to share with you this week, and I hope they inspire you to use all your yummy Unity stamps. I also made sure to use my new Gracielle Paper Packs that Unity just released! I am in love with her stunning paper designs.
Let Them Eat Cake
What birthday card is complete without a cake? Nothing is as scrumptious as an Angie Blom birthday cake. The first image is from the kit is called “Blissful Birthday.” Delicious and beautiful, this confection will make your card perfection! The paper is a new Gracielle pack called Pink and Blue Watercolored.
Coffee, Tea, and Other Drinks
If you don’t already have some of Unity’s AMAZING drink stamps, you have to grab some. At Unity, they have all your drinks covered, from coffee and tea to wine and mojitos. If you’re not into the hard stuff, they even have lemonade or milk stamps. Next up are some hot drink stamps that should warm-up your creativity.
Brystl girl is my fall fashion goals, and I bet she is BASIC and drinks #PSL’s (Pumpkin Spice Lattes) starting in August. Angie girls are just the bomb. The paper is another Gracielle stunner from the pack called Coffee Lovers. Also, how perfect is that sentiment from One Sip at a Time? Seriously? Gracielle hit this little sentiment out of the park.
Next, I used the kits “Tea Cup Floret” and “One Sip at a Time” to make this calming card. In the hustle and bustle of life, we need to remember to slow down and take each day moment by moment. To create the effect of the creamer spelling out a message, I used VersaMark ink, embossed it with clear, and painted over it using watercolors. The watercolors resist the embossing leaving a creamy note for the recipient. Again, I used paper from the pack, Coffee Lovers.
Finally, the last hot drink card uses Angie Blom’s design, “Spring to Go” and the Gracielle sentiment from “Autumn Dream.” One of the best features of Unity Stamps is their versatility. Even though the stamp is designated “spring,” it can be painted into a fall card using the right color palette. The colors of the paper pack “Autumn Dream” awakened my creativity for this card.
Donuts, Cookies, and Sweets
No Yummy Stamps challenge would be complete without a sweet treat. In my family, we eat sweets for breakfast with our coffee. Cinnamon rolls, cake, pie, brownies, donuts–it’s a fat kid’s delight! For the final sample, I have a psychedelic donut. I started with the Gracielle paper pack called Rainbow Vibes to get my color scheme right. Then, I painted my donut from the kit Sweet Sprinkled Donut with matching watercolors.
