Hello. It’s Gaylynn with my Technique Time series. Today I am sharing a holiday card and video tutorial using color burst watercolor along with heat embossing.
This is a festive winter card scene. I used stamping, white heat embossing and Ken Oliver color burst watercolor. Also, this scene was layered and embellished.
Sentiment: Joyful. Merry Love Joy.
Helpful tips:
To begin creating this scene, I created the night sky background using color burst watercolor onto the smooth side of watercolor paper. Then, once the watercolor was dry, white paint splatters were added to the watercolor background. Next, I stamped using embossing ink. Also, the stamping was heat embossed with white embossing powder. Finally, to finish, adhesive gems were added and then everything was layered.
