Christmas Coloring | Copic on Kraft

November 5, 2019 - by Crystal Thompson

Christmas Coloring | Copic on Kraft

Hi there! Crystal Thompson here with my Color Combo with Crystal post. Today we have a cozy winter inspired card using the Copic on Kraft Technique which is super easy! For this project, we will be using the gorgeous stamp set SMORES which is a border stamp and the sentiment from Time to Refresh.

To make this we begin with a piece of kraft cardstock, cut to A2 size. 5.50 x 4.25 inch.

Then stamping with brown ink, the SMORES. Using the MISTI to be sure we get all the amazing details. Before moving on, heat set your ink with a heat gun so there is image bleeding when the coloring begins.

By selecting the first image of the coloring being the gram crackers. It is easiest to select one particular set of images to color as you end up using the same Copics.

With the same brown ink color, stamp the sentiment from Time to Refresh right on the center.

Once everything but the marshmallows has been colored, add white Nuvo to the marshmallows at the edge to get these to stand out.

Add some white embellishments to the card, just so it does not look so one dimensional.

I have a full tutorial for you including how to achieve this look on kraft cardstock with minimal ink blending.

Be sure to leave a comment or if you have a question, I will try my best to answer!

Happy day!

Crystal
